The BED by CUCÚ creates a protected space that can be playfully transformed and stimulates the imagination. With a 140 x 70 cm mattress, it can be used from infancy to 6 years of age. The textile inserts on the two openings can be opened halfway or fully, so the little ones can get in and out independently from crawling age. The bed is made of birch and maple wood and treated with food-safe hard wax. Assembly is simple and requires no screws - eight wooden wedges hold everything together, free of metal or sharp parts. The high-quality wool textile inserts, made of multicolored yarns, create fascinating color landscapes that shimmer differently depending on perspective and exposure to light. The SUNSET shade is red with dark blue dots, like nightfall after a sunny day.

Recommendations
We recommend not to close the bed completely, before your infant starts moving around on its own. In our experience it was never necessary to close the bed completely during the night, the half-open position of the textile protects the child from rolling out, yet allows to climb out safely (perhaps with a pillow in front of the bed) in the morning and start the day exploring independentliy.We supply two “swing-stoppers”, which can be attached to the bottom of the bed to keep it from rocking. We recommend to apply them whenever more than one child is playing on the bed to prevented injuries.
